Note: SOHO/COSTEP real-time electron flux was originally elevated due to the X4.0 flare and CME 2025-11-14T08:00Z from AR 14274 (N24W71), where the MODEL: REleASE SOHO/EPHIN 15.8-39.8 MeV 60-minute forecast got very close to but did not reach threshold levels prior to the SOHO: COSTEP 15.8-39.8 MeV channel crossing threshold at 2025-11-14T12:32Z, possibly due to a SOHO data gap beginning at 2025-11-14T09:28Z. A later, small fluctuation in the SOHO/COSTEP real-time electron flux (and observed in the ACE/EPAM electron flux) did push the MODEL: REleASE SOHO/EPHIN 15.8-39.8 MeV 60-minute forecast above threshold at 2025-11-14T16:10Z, with a small additional enhancement in the SOHO: COSTEP 15.8-39.8 MeV channel on top of the ongoing event. No distinct observable source was seen accounting for this electron flux enhancement, though it was enough to tip the model into threshold.
